LAUTECH 18th Convocation Ceremony Schedule of Events [UPDATED]

LAUTECH 18th Convocation Ceremony has been announced.

The Vice-chancellor on behalf of the Senate and Governing Council of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) cordially invites all to the institution’s special 18th Convocation Ceremony of the 2025/2026 academic session Graduands.

Below is the detailed programme of events for the ceremony.

LAUTECH Convocation Ceremony Programme of Events

The Schedule of events for the Ceremonies are as follows:

• Thursday, 16th of April 2026 : Press conference at Council Chamber by 9am.
• Friday, 17th April 2026 : Jumat Service at University mosque by 1pm.
• Monday, 20th of April 2026: Alumni Day at The hall by 10am.
• Convocation play and cultural performances at the Great Hall by 2pm.
• Tuesday, 21st April 2026 : Convocation lecture at the Great Hall by 11am.
• Wednesday, 22nd April 2026: Award of first Degree and presentation of prizes at the Great Hall by 11am.
• Thursday, 23rd April 2026 : Award of Postgraduate Diplomas, Higher Degrees and Honorary Degrees at The Great Hall by 11am

NOTICE TO GRADUATING STUDENTS:

• It is mandatory for all graduating First Degree and Postgraduate students to participate in the academic procession formally dressed in approved academic gowns
• Graduating students are also expected to pay all stipulated fees, including
• Order of proceedings, containing the names of all graduating students.
• Graduating students are to pay prescribed fee for the gowns.
• All students must be at the robing venue, at the designated place by 9:00am.
• Procession for graduating students on each day starts at 9:00am Graduating students who are not fully dressed in academic gowns will not be allowed to process.
• Graduating students will not be allowed to join the procession midway.
• During the Ceremony, graduating students will NOT be allowed in and out of the venue at will.

METHOD OF PAYMENT:

Payment should be done using INTER SWITCH ENABLED DEBIT CARDS (ATM CARDS)
