NAUB Appoints Lieutenant Colonel Oyono Stephen Job as Acting Registrar.


The Nigerian Army has appointed Lt Col. Oyono Stephen Job as its new Acting Registrar of the Nigerian Army University Biu. He takes over from Brigadier General HY Abdulhamid, the University’s third substantive Registrar. Lt Col. Job officially assumed duty on Friday, 21 November 2025.
During the brief handover ceremony, the Acting Registrar expressed his appreciation to Brig Gen. Abdulhamid for his remarkable service and the significant milestones recorded under his tenure. He pledged to build on these achievements and further advance the growth and development of the University.
Lt Col. Job brings a wealth of experience to the position, having served in several key capacities, including:
Instructor/Head of Physics Department, Nigerian Military School Zaria.
Assistant Director ICT, Nigerian Army Resource Centre Abuja.
Brigade Education Officer, 14 Brigade Ohafia.
Commandant, Command Science Secondary School Efa-Etinan, Akwa-Ibom State.
Registrar, Nigerian Army College of Environmental Science and Technology, Makurdi.
Assistant Director Disaster Management/Peace Support Operations, Tukur Buratai Institute, Buratai.
Staff Officer 1 Administration, Nigerian Army Heritage and Future Centre, Abuja.
In his remarks, he prayed for continued success for the former Registrar in his future endeavours and called for the collective support and commitment of all staff as they work together to fulfil the University’s mandate.
