Rivers State University, RSUST has appointed Acting Registrar.


Rivers State University (RSU), Nkpolu-Oroworukwo, has announced the appointment of Dr. Idanyingi I. Daminabo as its new Acting Registrar, effective from today, 15th December, 2025.
Dr. Daminabo, who previously served as the Director of the Establishment Division and was the most senior Director within the University’s administrative cadre, succeeds Dr. I. B. S. Harry, whose tenure as Registrar has concluded.
An alumnus with a strong academic background, Dr. Daminabo holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Sociology, as well as a Doctorate Degree in Human Resource Management. Her career with the university began in 1994 when she transferred as an Administrative Officer I from the Rivers State Polytechnic, Bori, where she had been employed as an Administrative Officer II since 1988. She steadily advanced through the ranks, achieving the position of Director in 2017.
She is a distinguished professional, holding fellowships in the Institute of Corporate Administration and the Institute of Policy Management and Leadership Development (FIPLD). She is also a Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (MNIM) and the Association of Nigerian University Professional Administrators (ANUPA).
