2. Social Science is also a branch of science that deals with the institutions and functioning of human society and with the interpersonal relationships of individuals as members of society. (merriam-webster)
3. A group of academic disciplines that examine society and how people interact and develop as a culture. Social science as a field of study is separate from the natural sciences, which cover topics such as physics and chemistry.
