Thomas Adewumi University has reached a defining moment in its pursuit of academic excellence, as the pioneer 500-level Medical Laboratory Science students recorded a 100% pass rate in their first professional examination.


This outstanding achievement reaffirms the university’s commitment to academic excellence and high standards in medical education.
The examination, which included written, practical, and viva assessments, rigorously evaluated the students’ competence and preparedness for professional practice. All five candidates emerged victorious, earning commendation from the regulatory council representative, who were impressed with the high academic standards and exceptional performance exhibited by the students.
Speaking on this achievement, the Dean of the Faculty of Basic Medical and Health Sciences, Prof. Emenike Irokanulo, commended the dedication and hard work of the examiners and faculty members in ensuring a smooth and successful examination process.
“The examination was successfully conducted, and we appreciate the tireless efforts of all examiners and faculty members who played a role in preparing these students for success,” he stated.
Prof. Irokanulo also expressed his gratitude to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Francisca Oladipo, and the university management team for their continued support in promoting academic excellence. He further acknowledged the Chancellor, Engr. (Dr.) Johnson Adewumi, for his visionary leadership and steadfast investment in the university’s growth and success.
