UMYUK Disclaimer Notice on Fake Closure of School Circular In Circulation

The attention of Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU) has been drawn to a doctored circular being circulated online, falsely claiming that the University has been closed. The perpetrators altered an official notice originally issued by the Abdullahi Fodio University of Science & Technology Aliero, Kebbi state and inserted the UMYU logo to mislead the public.

The University wishes to categorically state that the circular is FAKE, MISLEADING, and should be disregarded in its entirety.

UMYU has not announced any closure, and all academic and administrative activities continue as scheduled.

For the avoidance of doubt, UMYU disseminates information ONLY through its official channels, which include:
The University Website
The Office of the Vice-Chancellor
The office of the Registrar
The Information & Protocol Unit
The University’s verified social media platforms
