The University of Ilorin, UNILORIN qualifying exam date for postgraduate applicants for the 2026/2027 academic session has been announced.


This is to inform prospective Postgraduate Students of University of Ilorin that the qualifying examination date for Postgraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 Academic Session will take place on Saturday, 13th June, 2026
We are pleased to inform you that the 2026/2027 postgraduate qualifying examination will take place on Saturday, 13th June, 2026, commencing at 8 am. The examination venues are as follows:
Candidates are advised to arrive at the venue of the examination at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination.

Candidates are advised:
- To arrive at the Venue of the examination at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination. Please check the attached schedule for your guidance and due compliance;
- To adhere strictly to the guidelines of COVID-19 as prescribed by PTF on COVID
- The use of face/nose mask, physical distancing, etc; iii) to bring to the venue, photocopy of the application form and other supporting documents;
- Not to come to the hall with any of the following, in line with the University of Ilorin Examinations Guidelines cell phone/handset, calculator/calculating machine, digital wrist watch, sunshade, food and drinks of any sort.
- To dress responsibly in line with the University of Ilorin approved “Dress Code”; and
To note that the University has Zero tolerance for examination malpractice, as the culprit(s) would not be spared of the appropriate sanctions. Kindly note that:
- Applicants for M.Phil./Ph.D. and Ph.D. programmes are exempted from this arrangement as their respective departments will get in touch with them; and
- In line with the University of Ilorin Senate approval, graduates of the University of Ilorin with either First Class or Second Class Upper Division, seeking Postgraduate admission in the programme they graduated from are exempted from the qualifying entrance examination.
