AFIT Students Orientation Programme Date 2025/2026 is Out .


The Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), Kaduna, has announced its Students Orientation Programme for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The event is designed to welcome new students, introduce them to campus life, and provide guidance on achieving academic success.
The orientation, themed “Start-Blocks for a Successful Academic Journey,” will be held at the Ibrahim Alfa Auditorium on the 27th and 28th of October 2025, starting at 0745 hours each day.
AFIT Commandant’s Welcome and Guest Lecture
The Commandant of AFIT, Air Vice Marshal S. L. Rabe (GSS, psc, fdc, fawc(+), BEng, MSc, MNIM, LAME, COREN), will formally welcome the incoming students to the new academic session. His address will highlight the institute’s expectations, values, and the academic opportunities available to all students.
The guest lecture will be delivered by Dr Abigail A. Abenu from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, who will speak on how students can build strong foundations for both academic and personal growth.
