We are happy to inform the general public that the management of Federal Polytechnic Ilaro (Ilaro Poly) has released the updated academic calendar for the commencement of the 2022/2023 academic session.
The Academic Board of Federal Polytechnic Ilaro at its 373rd Regular Meeting of the Board held on Wednesday, 9th November, 2022 approved the Academic calendar for 2022/2023 Academic session as follows:

Ilaro Poly Academic Calendar For 1st & 2nd Semesters
First Semester
- 1st semester Begins >> Sunday 18th, December 2022
- Registration for 1st and 2nd semesters 2022/2023 For fresh and returning students >> Monday 19th December, 2022 to Friday 6th, January 2023
- Lectures Begins for all ND I, HND 1 & HND II students >>Monday 9th January, 2023.
- Resumption of ND II Students (both FT & PT) > Monday 6th February, 2023.
- Orientation of new students >> Tuesday 14th March,2023.
- Matriculation Ceremony >> Wednesday 15th March,2023.
Second Semester
- 2nd semester Begins >Sunday 21st May,2023
- Lectures Begins for all students >>Monday 22nd may, 2023.
- Publication of 2nd semester 2022/2023 Examination time >> Monday 26th June, 2023
- Annual Public lecture >> Thursday 10th,August, 2023
- Lectures end for all students >> Saturday 19th August, 2023.
- 2nd semester 2022/2023 Test for all students >> Monday 21st August to Saturday 26th August,2023.
