Kaduna Polytechnic Combined Convocation & 70th Anniversary Ceremony.

The Rector, Dr Suleiman Umar, on behalf of the Governing Council, Management, Staff and Students of Kaduna Polytechnic, wishes to notify the general public of the programme lined up for the Kaduna Polytechnic Combined Convocation and 70th Anniversary Ceremony for the Award of Diplomas, Fellowship and Prizes, which will take place on Saturday, 16th May, 2026.

Additional Information:

• Pre-Convocation Lecturer: Hadiza Bala Usman, Special Adviser to President Tinubu on Policy Coordination.
  Pre-Convocation Lecture Topic: Harnessing Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Under Renewed Hope Agenda: Driving Nigeria’s Economic Revival through Skills Acquisition, Innovation, Digital Empowerment and Impactful Research.
• The affected Graduates are from 2016/2017, 2017/2018, 2018/2019, 2019/2020, 2020/2021, 2021/2022, 2022/2023, 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 Academic Sessions.
• Kaduna Polytechnic Fellowship Award will be conferred on seven eminent personalities that have distinguished themselves in their various services to the nation.
• All Graduates, Alumni, Students, Parents, Guardians and the General Public, are cordially invited.
• Guests are to be seated by 9am prompt for the convocation ceremony holding on Saturday, 16th May, 2026.

Information to All Graduates on Collection of Academic Gowns

• All Graduates are required to pay the sum of ₦20,000 only; ₦10,000 for rental of the Gown and ₦10,000 as deposit, which will be refunded back after the return of the Gown in good condition.
• Collection of the Gown shall be at the Department of Polymer and Textile Technology, College of Science and Technology, Main Campus, Tudun-Wada, after verification of payment receipt from Monday, 11th May, 2026.
• Payment shall be made at Kadpoly Micro Finance Bank, Central Administration, Main Campus, Tudun Wada.

Return of Academic Gowns

• All academic gowns should be returned on or before Tuesday, 19th May, 2026 at the Department of Polymer and Textile Technology, College of Science and Technology.
• Kindly note that late return of academic gown attracts a penalty of ₦1,000 only for each day of default.
