NSUK Resumption Date 2026 Announced [UPDATED]

Following the approval of the University Senate, the Academic Calendar for the 2025/2026 Academic Session is hereby circulated for the information of the University community and for strict compliance.

All concerned are to kindly note the following key directives:

• Registration and Portal Activation
  The University portal will be opened for the registration of newly admitted and returning students from Sunday, 4 January 2026, and will close on Saturday, 31 January 2026.
• Third Semester Activities
  Revision and examinations for the Third Semester (Second Batch) will run concurrently with registration from Monday, 10 January to Saturday, 24 January 2026.
  Departments are required to effectively manage these activities to avoid disruptions to the registration process.
• Resumption and Commencement of Lectures
  Resumption and commencement of lectures for all categories of students will take place on Monday, 2 February 2026.

All Faculties, Departments, and relevant Units are hereby requested to ensure adequate preparedness and adhere strictly to the above timelines for the smooth commencement of the academic session.
