The 44th Convocation also unveiled another Abusite genius, Abubakar, Al-Ihsan Mohammed with Matric No: U17EE1059 from the Department of Electrical Engineering with a CGPA of 4.95 as the overall best student for the year 2025. He took the mantle from Abuhuraira Mahdi, who clinched the title of the overall best graduating student at the university’s 43rd Convocation Ceremony held on January 27, 2024. Abuhuraira graduated from the Department of Computer Science in the Faculty of Physical Sciences with the same Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.95 out of 5.0.
