GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
APPLICANTS SEEKING ADMISSION TO THE PROGRAMME MUST FULFILL THE FOLLOWING:
i. Five (5) credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at O’Level not more than two sittings.
ii. Doctorate candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Petroleum and Energy Economics or equivalent. For Masters degree, applicants should possess Bachelor’s degree from recognised institutions with at least a Second Class Lower Division or equivalent. Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) degree in Petroleum and Energy Economics or equivalents is admissible. Applicants for Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) programmes would require a minimum of a Third Class Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (Lower Credit) or its equivalent from a recognised institution.
iii. NYSC discharge certificate or exemption letter.
COURSE DURATION
Professional Doctorate Degree
(a) Full-time: A minimum of thirty-six (36) Months(b) Part-time: A minimum of forty-two (42) months
MSc and Professional Master Degrees
(a) Full-time: A minimum of three semesters and maximum of six semesters(b) Part-time: A minimum of six semesters and maximum if eight semesters
Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)
(a) Full-time: A minimum of two semesters and maximum of four semesters(b) Part-time: A minimum of four semesters and maximum if six semesters
