The Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP) is set to commence a two-week warning strike from December 2, 2024, in protest over what the Union describes as unmet longstanding demands.

The decision follows a National Executive Council meeting held in Abuja where leadership of the Union frowns at negligence in addressing issues crucial to the welfare of polytechnic lecturers and institutions
President of ASUP, Kpanja Shammah, says that the union’s demands span several administrations.
