Ezzy Nursing College Denies Alleged Illegal Expulsion of a Student, Defends action

Ezzy International College of Nursing Science, Enugu has denied alleged illegal expulsion of a student.

This is to further address and clarify the allegations circulating regarding the purported illegal expulsion of a student from Ezzy International College of Nursing Science, Enugu.

First and foremost, Ezzy International College of Nursing Science remains committed to upholding the highest standards of academic excellence, discipline, and professional conduct.

As a reputable institution dedicated to training competent healthcare professionals, the College reserves the unequivocal right to discipline any student found wanting in character, conduct, or adherence to established rules and regulations.

Such disciplinary actions are neither arbitrary nor oppressive but are essential to maintaining order, integrity, and a conducive learning environment.

It is important to state clearly that due process and standard institutional procedures were strictly followed in the disciplinary measures taken in this case.

The actions were necessary to prevent a breakdown of order within the College, particularly in light of conduct deemed capable of introducing disorder and undermining institutional authority. No action was taken outside the framework of the College’s established policies.

Furthermore, it has come to our attention that Mrs. Ijeoma Nwaogaranya has sought to misrepresent the situation in a manner that suggests victimisation, indicating that her actions may be influenced by external motivations, including an attempt to attract public sympathy similar to that surrounding one Joy Ezeugwu, who voluntarily exited the Ezzy Healthcare Training College, Trans Ekulu, and later benefited from a scholarship opportunity.

It is therefore concerning that such narratives may be deliberately constructed to manipulate public opinion or secure similar advantages. This approach is not only misleading but also undermines the values of discipline, merit, and professionalism that are fundamental to nursing education.

Ezzy International College of Nursing Science strongly condemns any attempt to reward misconduct or lawlessness under the guise of advocacy or public appeal. Encouraging such behaviour is a dangerous precedent, particularly in a professional training environment where ethical standards and responsibility are paramount.

We urge the public and all stakeholders to seek accurate information and avoid being swayed by incomplete or misleading accounts. The College remains open to constructive engagement but will not compromise its standards or disciplinary framework.

The actions taken by the institution were lawful, justified, and necessary to preserve the integrity and order of the College.

Any claims suggesting otherwise are unfounded and should be disregarded.
