FULafia Secured Full Accreditation in 2023, 2024 NUC Exercises
The Management of the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) is thrilled to announce that the university achieved 100% success in the 2023 and 2024 accreditation exercises conducted by the National Universities Commission (NUC). All seventeen programs evaluated in 2024, like the seventeen in 2023, met or exceeded national academic standards, reinforcing FULafia’s commitment to delivering high-quality education.

Commenting on the results, the Director of Academic Planning, Prof. Ilemona Adofu, stated: “We are deeply honored by this milestone. According to the NUC, full accreditation is valid for five years, while interim accreditation lasts two years, after which programs are reassessed. FULafia is actively addressing feedback from the interim accreditation of Nursing Science, Human Anatomy, and Computer Science to secure full accreditation in future reviews.
