Sunday, 9th November 2025 – Commemorative Church Service
The week begins with a thanksgiving service at the University Chapel by 10:00 a.m., bringing together students, parents, and staff for a shared time of reflection and gratitude.
Tuesday, 11th November 2025 – Vice Chancellor’s Press Conference
The Vice Chancellor will address the press at the Senate Chamber by 11:00 a.m., highlighting achievements and future goals for Bingham University.
Wednesday, 12th November 2025 – Sports Events
Students and staff will gather at the Sports Arena by 4:00 p.m. for friendly competitions and team-building activities that promote healthy living and unity.
Thursday, 13th November 2025 – Student Essay Competition
The Faculty of Architecture Auditorium will host a student essay competition by 10:00 a.m. This event encourages academic expression and critical thinking among students.
Thursday, 13th November 2025 – Anniversary Photo Exhibition
An anniversary exhibition at the W. B. Qurix Senate Building, scheduled for 11:00 a.m., will feature memorable photos highlighting the history and growth of Bingham University.
Friday, 14th November 2025 – Convocation Lecture
By 11:00 a.m., the Faculty of Architecture Auditorium will host the official Convocation Lecture. This lecture will feature discussions on current educational and societal themes.
Friday, 14th November 2025 – Commissioning of Projects
Following the lecture, the Senate Building will open new projects at 1:00 p.m., showcasing development across the university’s facilities.
Friday, 14th November 2025 – Vice Chancellor’s Luncheon, Awards, and Mini Book Launch
The New Law Library will host a luncheon at 2:00 p.m. The event will include awards to outstanding members of the community and a brief book launch.
Saturday, 15th November 2025 – Main Convocation Ceremony
The main convocation takes place at the University Chapel by 9:00 a.m. Graduating students, their families, and distinguished guests will attend this ceremony to celebrate academic success and the beginning of new chapters in their lives.
